Pros
Battery life is about 24 hours (which is normal in this segment and size of watch) battery is ok ish. Battery lasts fine, better than my wife's apple watch. With the tilt to awaken function on, i'm a day and a half between charges.
The pixel watch is brilliant, does everything you need it too without any gimmicks. Build is stainless still and glass so is premium thru and thru.
The pixel watch is a pretty good first outing from google. It needs a bit of product polishing for version 2.
It's very feminine unlike other bulkier smart watches. Watch strap included is soft and supple. Not bulky at all when on the wrist.

Even with removing most of the apps - battery just about lasts a day. It routinely resets the time to up to 15 minutes different from the correct time. The charging puck is terrible too, seems like the watch won't charge if it's even 1mm off center.

Packaging/appearance
Was hesitant about a smart watch initially but after getting this one i'm converted.
And this was activated by the pixel watch because my sleeves are touching on the screen.
Competitiveness
This is my first smartwatch, bought to replace a fitbit alta hr i've been using for 4 years.
Screen looks to be a bit small for a smartwatch specially when using apps.

It looks way too small on my wrist so i had to stick on one of the custom bezels you can buy to beef it up a bit

You are stuck with the fitbit software though so that means random issues not syncing as it has been forever even with a pixel watch and a pixel phone and they recently changed their app to be worse than ever monotone drab bloated we can only hope they add some colour back into it healthexercise tracking is supposed to be fun

I feel like the pixel watch 2 just exists this year to help sell pixel phones as a freebie so i wont be upgrading yet
