The mesh network works. Perfect for streaming movies, online gaming, and video conferencing.
Cons
New issues are with the app that controls them. Didn't improve my wifi coverage on the second floor of a 2900 square ft.

I recently purchased the google wifi ac1200 wireless dual-band gigabit mesh wi-fi router and i am extremely satisfied with this product.
Excellent quality with great range which more than suffices the need.
I made the mistake of contacting google wi-fi tech support and have spent 6-7 hours troubleshooting the problem with the 3rd point.
Lesson learned - don’t call google unless you want to be frustrated and disappointed.
Competitiveness
Bought a 5th node at the fraction of the price i originally paid for the 3-node set years ago.
However, i bought a 3-pack and one of the three would not connect.
I tried mesh systems from d-link and netgear but both were problematic.
The only thing is that sometimes a device does not connect to the nearest acces point so i don't know how it is managed.

The location was the furthest point from my router on the ground level of my home with a weaker signal that negatively affected team meetings and conf calls

I called my wifi provider and they recommend the google mesh system over their own product
