It mounts to the air vent by pushing a vent blade into the cross cut section on the back which has soft plastic that squeezes the blade tightly as you wedge it in
I have many mounts ranging from your standard sticky to car mounts all the way to a dog harness
That being said your mount is almost as important as your camera itself when it comes to getting the shot you need if the camera cant go where you need it to or cant stay tightly locked down it can ruin a whole video
I say all of that to give more insight on how i will go about reviewing this mount specifically
