Pros

Front-facing screen is a genius idea for framing your shot perfectly. The image stabilization is really amazing for such a tiny camera. It also takes decent photos. Outstanding crisp panoramic views and colours captured by such a small camera.

When recording at 4k you get over two hours of total recording, which is pretty respectable. The benefit of the 5k footage is that you can crop and zoom in to take advantage of the extra pixels without making things too blurry.

This is now replaceable. These mods are first party accessories that add different features to the camera.

Cons

Not impressed by low light capabilities and touch ui is really slow and unresponsive. Camera overheats like crazy (indoors at 24c ambient temp) and it shuts off. There's too many bugs for the gopro to cost as much as it does.
