Fits perfectly onto my gopro hero 8 black, was expecting a lower quality case, ended up being a good quality one!
Check battery - may not be seated snug with the mounted media mod.
The microphone is better than not having one but is not a high quality directional mic.

The audio quality of the rhode mic was noticeably better than the one built into the mod but it wasnt a huge difference

The biggest annoyance is the mounting screw bumps into the case which can tilt the go pro 8 slightly

There is almost 0 clearance between the tightening screw and the mod casing so when tightening the mount you may also slightly tilt the camera inadvertently

If you have an extra long screw mount you can avoid this issue but for the average screw mount youll definitely encounter this problem

Also putting it on and off the go pro isn’t very seamless as it snags and isn’t smoothkeep in mind your go pro will no longer be waterproof with this on
