Pros

Good item. Well made. Fast shipping. I really think that gopro understands that if you need it, you can price it however they want.

Another mic is pretty much necessary (at least for what i use mine for). Much happier using this for external microphone.

This greatly helps out the audio on the hero8.

Cons

Only way to recover is to disassemble everything so you can remove the battery. Pain in the * to tighten securely. Can't download files ('device in use'). Then it shuts down after a while.

Plus it feels quality and exceed my expectations.

But for above water recording the sound quality was significantly improved and that was the only reason i bought it.

The gopro hero 8 black, stopped working the second time i tried to use it so i never got a chance to try it with the camera.
