Pros

The only downside for that use (other than price) is that it's hard to operate with gloves on. Love this thing. It’s pricey but the quality is great.

Being bluetooth greatly conserves the battery. The monochrome display is crisp and clear.

Cons

Only a single beep from the camera to record and 3 beeps to stop. No audio feedback for pairing. Remote is not really waterproof as flap over charging bay is faulty by letting water in.

Gopro seems to be completely devoid of common sense. Really hard to foil staring at that trying to get it back to normal.

Comes with wrist strap only. The display has no backlit making it impossible to see in the dark. Its either so small or the icons are next to the edge and in a shadow. You have to tilt and twist the remote to see them.

Is i only got this one first and save some money

I do believe $80 for the remote is sort of a steep price however, it has not failed me.

The only downside for that use (other than price) is that it's hard to operate with gloves on.
