I peeled that off and used extreme velcro designed for exterior use and no issues.
Most are so light weight and ineffective and can't do the job.

Removing the item from the packaging, i noticed it being folded made some significant dents in the soft filling.

I think the weight does more than the pvc grip dots to keep them from moving.

Its a little hard for seniors to set up because you do have to place it properly each time and theres no super easy way to do that but the loop is handy for hanging on the door knob when not in use and for using a cane or hook to pick it up off the floor

Although the velcro that came with the door stopper installed easily it didnt want to stay on the door
