And it doesnt move at all its stuck to the floor like glue nothing falls through it great quality.
Material was thick and appears quite durable.
This carpet seems to be fairly absorbent, but i want to say that there are usually only two of us coming in/wetting it with our shoes.

I had bought some dollar store mats for my back door before and they would just slide around non stop and dirt would fall through

This matt came rolled up and once i was able to get it rolled out and laid down with in 24hrs it was straight as can be

I cannot vouch for its absorbency for a larger group of wetsnowy shoes
