Used the 4x6 mat to keep mattress from sliding.
This rug pad keeps your rug from slipping. Holds rugs firmly in place, easy to cut down if needed, and turns a thin rug into a comfortable to walk on rug. Didn’t have to trim it at all.
Cons
This product barely stays in place. It also bunches up underneath causing a lumpy rug and a tripping hazard! Don’t waste your money for a smaller lightweight rug/runner. It did not grip very well when we tested a corner of it on our polished hardwood.... Read More

That means lots of zoomies and roughhousing which in turn means a lot of slipping rugs and a lot of scratches from the dogs on the hardwoods
