Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install and trim off the excess. Unfolded and laid on ceramic tile floor - creases and folds relaxed in about 24 hours. No sliding on lvp flooring and an area rug.
Soft felt with rubber gripping underside. Keeps the carpet in place and softens the carpet. It stays in place when vacuuming.
We are very happy with these and believe the price is fair for the quality. Excellent quality.
Cons
It does not do a good job of securing the rug to the floor. Uncured material makes me worried about it breaking down and/or releasing that material into my wood floors.
Either it's a petty ripoff, or they're just sloppy. This listing specifies “import made in usa’.
After ordering twice due to delivery issues, the pad isn’t even big enough. It’s a whole foot smaller in width and arrived folded in half rolled up. I'm bummed to receive the wrong size twice.
Highlights
Quality
It’s nice quality and it’s very gripping which is perfect!
Great cushioning and grip keeping my wool rugs from sliding on my porcelain tile floor.
This has a grip that sticks to the floor so the rug does not move.
Finally a rug pad that grips throw rug and tile floor.
Price
While more expensive than thin latex pads, they are definitely worth the price!
Shipping
Just received my rid stay mat a few days ago.
Packaging/appearance
Looks fabulous and it saved my area carpets.
It comes folded and packaged in a tight plastic overwrap, which means when you unfold it, it's lumpy.
First, it came folded, not rolled as some reviewers said it came.
Competitiveness
While there is still some movement, it is minimal, especially when compared to 2 other brands that we had tried before.
