Pros & Cons
Pros
The hammered copper is very attractive and cooking with them is perfect. Heats evenly and holds the heat- and totally non-stick. Start on the stove then pop in the oven under the broiler to finish.
Cons
I'm the type of person that usually reads a million reviews and watch a million videos of people using a product before i purchase something. The pan looks nice but it’s a great disappointment.
The coating on this frying pan is not the same as the coating on the original 8. After 10 uses, the bottom has turned brown and there are brown spots in the middle of the pan (its not food or anything i can scrape off), i believe the coating came off ... Read More
Only 1 side of the pan gets hot which when using for a omelette is far from ideal. If one uses just a bit of lubricant it is a passable skillet.
Highlights
Quality
Great pan for low - med heat, easy clean up.
Easy to clean and seems to have even heat distribution.
3 months and the non stick surface is gone.
Not for high heat, causes more burning & more clean up time.
Price
This is a great pan and priced right
And i wasn't willing to spend the $$ for the one i really wanted.
I read an article that said one should buy the most inexpensive nonstick pan because they never last very long.
For the money, that’s all i’m asking.
Packaging/appearance
It is beautiful and i've received tons of complements.
Beautiful to look at with the hammered copper look.
Competitiveness
I bought another set of frying pans at the same time and the two gotham steel frying pans have held up much better than the others.
