As far as reel feel and quality of build, i would say this reel is above my abu garcia silver maxx overall.

The goture ares-max isn’t big in size and weight compared to a conventional drum reel for the amount of drag ( 22 lbs.

I got the goture ares-max baitcasting fishing reel for when i go bass fishing.
Was looking for a casting reel to cast light topwater plugs.
Competitiveness
I tested from 1/8th oz to 2oz weights for casting.
Goture this is a great baitcasting reels keep up the good work
It has lasted 10 practices and 5 tournaments now.
Not much larger than a normal low-profile baitcaster.

The catch in the gears washed itself after adding a quality reel oil to the gearbox via the spool shaft bearing and the drainage port on the bottom of the gearbox housing
