Pros
Kudos to goture for making such a beautiful, affordable travel rod. It assembles well and is very well made. Bought this cheap travel pole.
The 4 peice sections makes it very portable to bring anywhere. Comes with a fabric case that then fits into the tube that looks pretty durable too.

Cons
Time to return it to amazon has expired, so there’s nearly $50. If i got a dud, then maybe it's a decent rod.
There was hardly any pressure on the thing. The thread broke, so it sank into the lake. The pole with not much pressure completely shattered in two different places.
Highlights
Quality
The rods travel well, and i am actually able to fit the 7ft rod in the tube with the 8ft so i only have to travel with 1 tube.
Can't believe they can build a rod with that quality and a great travel case for that money.
Will see how it does put to use, but i am very picky and the quality is equal to alot of my high end salt water rods.
So this is a cheaper quality rod but for a travel rod, it's working out great.

I have used the 8ft beach fishing catching several jacks, bluefish and spanish mackerel.
I thought the micro lite was nice until i received the goture, now it's just ok in my opinion.
Competitiveness
Bought this rod with kastking zephyr bfs baitcasting reel - i would recommend this combination.
High quality (looks better than my cabelas fish eagle travel rod).
I can easily cast a 1oz spoon or swimbait, even though the rod is 4 pieces it rarely needs adjusted.

The eye holes are very small so if you plan on using a long leader i wouldnt recommend it

Ok so let me say that i was apprehensive as most 4 piece travel rods or the like are not exactly decent quality or lack somewhere like guides or the reel seat

Not sure if u can throw a big lure or bait and will have to keep rod tip little lower horsing in a big one

But in it you can tell it’s a slow tip just thought that was for the longer surf rod
