Pros

There's no nitrate or other preservatives in the beef jerky.

The drip tray is necessary for the wetter items. Runs surprisingly quiet. The cleanup for the racks is best accomplished with an overnight soak in water with dishwasher soap.

Cons

Worked well at first. When i try to adjust temperature it just shuts off. This machine is hardly used and is now disposable after a year.
