Pros

It heats much faster than the stovetop kettle and microwave. The water is super hot and it’s collapsible!

Some boutique hotels overseas don't have electric kettles for coffee and tea. They taste really good for instant coffee and better than weak hotel coffee. As an early riser, i want my tea when i get up - well before the diner car opens.

It’s portability allows it to fit perfectly in her luggage. Easy to pack, easy to use and packs small.

This thing is fast and perfect for noodle soup or something simple. Boils super fast. Adjustable temp is so that you can fill it higher and not worry about it boiling over.

The handle is sturdier than i thought it would be. Easily unfolds and goes back down for travel purposes. Be nice with ther other handle and button to raise the lid.

Cons

This kettle is advertised as being 1. It holds nearly 3 cups of water but no more. The switch is made of cheap plastic and cannot be moved with a coin. The plastic only tears up!

Water is boiling hot in about 10 min

Might be a result of my boyfriend failing to clean it at one point and it left a stain.

Price

It will save me money, as i can make oatmeal for breakfast and save $20 for breakfast and noodles for late night snack!

Rather than continue to spend £6-10 per day on tea, i purchased this pot for my next trip.

I'd pay a decent price for the next best, if made to the specifications listed here and i would test it.

Packaging/appearance

There was no silicone smell, flaking nor residue, when we opened the package nor any after water boiled.

But for the convenience of packing in my carry on, it’s worth it.

Doesnt weigh muchnand its not big so i packed it in my checked bag and then brought it in my carry on bag.
