The unit itself wont tell you what the temp is currently at only what you set it to cook at

You cant really hit the start button until the water is at the correct temp or it will ask you to select the type of cooking again not very intuitive

We only had an analog dial thermometer and it didnt have a decent scale to see what the temp really was so we spent a long time trying to figure out what the temp was and why the unit would not start the process

So the sous vide steps should beo determine what you are cooking what temp you want and the timeo put water into the gourmia at near the temp needed

O select menu until you get to sous video press temp button and set the temp to what you wanto press the temp button again and move the time up or down to where you want it it is hours and minutes in 30 min incrementso wait dont press start
