It doesnt come unclipped and fall down into the pan it doesnt stream up inside so its unreadable

My only con would be that the spatula is rigid and not flexible at all so it doesnt conform to the sides of a pan if the pan is curved rather than straight up and down

I can only surmise that the material has to be rigid to protect the thermometer housed inside but it would be nice if somehow the edges could be a flexible silicone like other silicone spatulas so it comes into contact with the pots bottom and sides

One last note thankfully i had one of those jewelers screw drivers to unscrew the battery cover so i could pull out the tab it was in there so tightly when i got it that it was impossible to pull it out so the battery would make contact and i could turn it on
