Pros
App is also easy to use for the 60 predefined effects, but creating your own effect in the app isn’t as intuitive as it should be. Adhesive is awesome, sticks super well. Easy to install and instructions are clear.
They’re powered by an included 12v 1000ma power adapter. Only things i don't like is these ones are a solid colour. The lights are awesome and we will be keeping them!
Govee is a good option if you want to get into strip lighting. Works better than my phillips hue strip which was a quarter of the length and more than double the price. Best bang for your buck when compared with the others.
Cons
Some leds light up the wrong color after a month of use. Adhesion is so strong its going to rip off the paint where its been installed.

The govee mobile app works pretty well, has a number of effects you can turn on.
Very bright and the kids love controlling them with the google home !
Had some issues with the first set where one segment's blue lights weren't functioning.
Price
The price is great and will recommend to anyone without hesitaiton.
Competitiveness
It's still a good lowbudget led strip cost compared to other house name brands like philips.

Also the brightness of these lights is not great so it can only be used for ambient lights not the main lights

I have found that these ones dont quite make some colours properly example i want a deep purple it gives me like a whiteish violet
