Pros
Govee sync lights are great for movie watching. App gives you plenty of brightness & saturation control to tweak. If you want to try sync'd color backlighting then this is an great place to start.
I really like the fact that it works with alexa. Highly recommend. Thumbs up. Keeps up with no problem.
Cons
Lights on the sync box are the same with the top and bottom lights being greyed out on movies. You literally have a camera filming your screen, but it really struggles with bright or high-contrast content. It is severely flawed.

The sync box works great and the colors match up with my tv but these lights are considerably less bright than the govee tv backlight i had installed previously

Another thing to note is if the video has black bars on the top and bottom such as most disney content the lights will be off so these lights are really only on the sides of the tv

It does not have a remote and it stays on when the tv turns off and the only way to turn it off is through the app
