Pros & Cons
Pros
With the hue system you sync the lights directly to your content playback. It also includes an adapter to connect to bluetooth or wi-fi. Alexa integration to turn them on and off and control the brightness and colours.
It's really fun to have your room lit up in any colour you like depending on your mood. The leds themselves are nice and bright and create a lovely atmosphere when glowing. Static mod lighting & music visualisations are good too.
Price is great though at the rrp of £79. Overall, for the price you get your money’s worth. A lot of bang for your buck. Looking to buy the lamp next for the bedroom.
The video function for movies and video games is outstanding and it’s very cyberpunk, so watching cyberpunk videos and games is just *chefs kiss*. This also allows you to use the amazon alexa or google assistant. Downloading the govee app will give yo... Read More

I like how you can move them around and it gives you multiple ways to display them with the mounts and stands.
Poor quality connecting to alexa, go for the phillips hue ones, twice as expensive but they actually work with alexa.
My initial problem was that the lights did not change with the screen - it remained a yellow/gold colour.
Packaging/appearance

Competitiveness
easy to set up and works really well on a 55inch tv.
Use utube video instead of sticker pads.
I own the philips hue lights & have a philips ambilight tv they are just as good & i dare to say better giving the value for money.
I’ve been after some form of “ambilight” for the back of my tv for some time and have hummed and harred about getting these light bars.

Only issue is you can’t have them too close to the screen otherwise the colour gets into the camera and the colours are no longer correct
