Pros

The app is easy to use. The layout tool was really helpful & the color options are endless. The app also accesses all the lights you have so they are easy to turn on and off with your phone. Setup is a breeze.

Govee has greater customization ability than cync. Easy to set up and sync. Very very easy toset up automation.

Cons

The app only recognizes shapes in a line, so if you're thinking of designs that branch off, the app won't recognize the shape. The app is fine for single color but if you want the pretty fade color the pics show you stuck to a preset scene.

The dual-sided stickers included with the lights are completely useless. The adhesive strips ripped out drywall. Govee only provides two spare pieces of adhesive to go with these. The product backing is no good on the original and is dried/faulty.

Then they all get all scratched up from falling on each other. Then you have all kinds of scuffs and marks on the lights that look terrible.

These are absolutely worth the price of admission (but i had to wait for a sale, and i’m so glad i did).
