Pros
Customer service is top notch. It's still far far better than some white/static light strips that many sell.
Sharp, crisp and responsive. Only criticism is that power wire could have been longer, as it made installation a bit more tricky. Had a few hair pulling out experience trying to connect wifi but sorted in the end.
Cons
It seems to be random colours that it picks. Played around with the saturation and white balance but this doesn’t work. Uses purple quite allot, it seems to show anything in shadow as purple.
Wifi constantly drops out and it refuses to recognise that the camera is connected. Gravity pulls downwards so a top exitcable will naturally want to fall downwards.

Used govees “rapid replacement” service and a brand new kit arrived a few days later.
Packaging/appearance
The lights come very well packed and are on a roll.
Competitiveness
Cracking bit of kit and much better than higher priced philips.
Very nice though, i would say it even rivals phillips "ambilight".
I would recommend if you are looking for a backlight with multiple scene options which can match other govee products.

Product is slightly too big for my tv but it hasnt had any impact on the quality or the experience ive had with this product

I get many comments on quality of the colours especially in the darker months if ive got no big lights on

Then you have to stick some orange cubes to your tv do it gently and dont press them on too hard or you risk damaging your tv when taking them off then you calibrate it with the app that walks you through it all

Colour variation can be a bit dim if youre focusing on it and the camera is a bit obtrusive
