A tip for newbies, create a guest wi-fi network with no password security to connect the device to your wi-fi when you first set it up.
The sticker tabs given to hold the led strip down immediately fell off but the strip is holding more than well enough!
Competitiveness
Work amazingly well and for much less than philips hue has to offer and i believe it does the exact same thing as the hue play.
I was blown away by the quality of this for the price it's so cheap compared to govee's other products.
If your tv is too big you can also just get govee strip lights as an alternative from this brand

Now i have 2 of these tv strip light sets rgbic one for around a tv and the other inside a glass cabinet one set of pillar lights rgbicww and 1 floor lamp rgbicww

If you want true whites bright and warm white make sure you buy rgbicww lights as the rbgic do not produce a good white colour

Make sure to take your time to properly determine where it will be placed before pulling off the protective strip covering the stick part

Even though its designed for wide dimensions and my monitor is an ultrawide it still barely fit well enough

Standard light strip wouldnt bend around the tv properly

The mic is sensitive and pics up any minor sound haven’t quite nailed that function yet with the settings and it the flashing hurts my eyes so i just keep it on the regular fixed colour mode
