Pros

The app has a widget for your phone so you can see all three temps and humidity listed, up to date, without opening the app. The app displays well-designed separate plots of the history of each sensor and it has the capability to export data and trigg... Read More

Small units that are very easy to setup on our wifi network. Instructions and steps to install are exceptionally well designed. App is somewhat primitive but does it's job. Well, they do, and amazingly at that.

Download the app to your cellphone. Pair all the thermo-hygrometer with your cellphone one at a time. Great range on bluetooth bridge. Ghz is still there and available.

Cons

Tough luck, one more app you are forced into installing instead of being able to consolidate. I love the hardware but considering returning it because it is not integrable with tuya smart app devices. In short, the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

The gateway connects to your wifi router or access point, but it frequently dropped the connection even though the two are only 6 feet apart. The sensor connections also frequently drop. Sensors are incredibly inaccurate.

Instructions are seriously incomplete. Connections are unreliable.

The drain in the fridge had frozen over the winter causing ice buildup and erratic operation.

The problem is the desiccant wears out after 6 months.

All in all i feel i got my money's worth on this.

Great price, pretty easy to set up (provided you don't accidentally misspell your wi-fi password!

Update 9/12/24: after a bit of back and forth with govee customer support, they decided to send a new gateway to me at no cost.

Competitiveness

They are much more accurate than the thermometer and hygrometer on any of the incubators i have, even the $500 incubator.

I have other govee devices and these are just as easy to add and configure as the others.

Of course, it's out of warranty and they don't sell the gateway separately.

Accuracy concerns: some users report minor discrepancies in temperature and humidity readings compared to other hygrometers.
