The lights come on a wheel so unpacking the lights and taking them to where they will be installed was very easy. Installing these lights is very simple. Took us about 1-2 hours to install.

Other than cost and compatibility there is little to say about these lights that isn't exceptionally good. I'm really impressed with the thoughtful organization that govee sends to the customer.

The ip65 waterproof rating ensures that these outdoor lights can withstand the elements with ease. The light strip ends have waterproof connectors, that link to the previous (or next) string of lights.

Cons

It wants bluetooth (understandable), location (why? Online reviews report a large size of the app. The app has small * that react only about half the time. There is no easy-to-use button.

The app installation and setup is excellent and a breeze.

These led strip lights are well made from quality material.

The first and best thing with this latest offering is it is a fully 32ft of continuous line now more split into 2 16 foot lengths!

The diffuser is terrible and absolutely allows for hotspots to show prominently.

Price

Although they are a little pricey, they are definitely worth it and i would highly recommend.

Worth the money spend as it took about 4 1/2 hours to install.

I originally ordered knock off lights for cheaper and they were junk.

They're not inexpensive, so i did give it some thought.

Shipping

At the time i ordered, the ad showed the length as 98.

Contacted the support services and they immediately shipped a replacement.

Fast delivery, we had an issue with first set of lights.

Packaging/appearance

The lights were packaged well & organized into different boxes within the packaging.

I have a lot of smart lights, and the govee brand is one of the best.

Govee is really becoming the preferred smart light brand in our home.

Other than govee there does not seem to be much being produced by large dominant companies that you are likely to be able to match later.

A lot of other brands provide hardware that is comparable in quality to govee, but it's the software that gives them the edge and it shows.
