I have had this lamp for over 6 months now.
Price
Giving 4 starts because i bought it on sale.
If i paid full price this rating would be 3 stars.
Overall i think it's quite pricey, even at the discounted price, for what's it is.
Shipping
I contacted govee via the amazon support page, a replacement item was dispatched the same day and received 3 days later.
Packaging/appearance
Took 5 minutes to put together, everything is quality even the packaging.
It looks great, and guests always comment on the lamp.
Competitiveness
I was torn between govee and philips hue but very pleased with my decision.

The use case is definitely not for pointing them towards the camera though

Pointing them at the camera youll see the individual leds and the narrow beam angle means that you wont get much light spilt onto the background

I appreciate the easy installation but the base does not support proper alignment of the metallic frame for the strip as it keeps wobbling
