Lights come on a 5m roll with adhesive backed tape. The adhesive is great.
Lots of functionality via the govee app and great online community. App is superb and offers a huge amount of presets for every possible scenario.
Cons
Had the item a little over 2 weeks and now just won't come on. One week later, they stop working out of no where, for no reason at all.

Disappointed there aren't many controls with the remote and for that, i recommend that you do get the govee home app.
bought a number of these led lights and various brands but govee seem to me to be the best quality.

This could be my fault for not wiping the surface with alcohol but it doesnt stick properly it comes off every now and then in parts of it but i am planning to buy some more 3m tape to fix this and will make sure to wipe it down first

Also a app is a little complicated when it comes to the different modes and some modes are buggy when customising them like if i want to keep the brightness lower on a mode it automatically increases the brightness back up

The main difference is that each led can be addressed separately giving an impossible number of lighting possibilities and sequences
