Pros

App is easy enough to use once you get used to it. Easy to setup, absolutely flawless and simple. The most fun part of the app is the ai integration.

The new element featured is the amount of blending lighting beads per ft. This provides a brighter and more consistent light across it's length. The led lights are triple the amount of a regular strip and not scrappy or exposed.

There are 11 controllable zones in the app, with the multitude of leds. The app allows you to sync different sets to be the same color, etc.

The m1 product has the brightest and the most coordinated performance over others. It works seamlessly with the tv lights and a six foot m1 light. I have decent sized hands and you can see how big it is next to my hand.

Cons

Unfortunately, it appears you lose all of the custom animation options without the app. The app privacy data is unreasonably invasive.

The power connectors on these strips are defective and do not last more than a month. If i wiggle the power connector when this happens i'm able to make it stop but it's only a matter of time before it starts randomly blinking again.

I do recommend this product, it’s worth the price to me!

I understand not everyone is going to be using this product like i attempted to, and at the current price, these are a great buy.

I wanted to use the rest considering these led lights were $100 when i purchased them.

Shipping

It arrived quickly and it worked as described!

Got them on prime days so they were like half off.

However, their excellent customer service shone through as they promptly sent a replacement m1 unit free of charge, arriving within a day.

Their team was quick to respond and offered helpful troubleshooting tips, although unfortunately, the issue couldn't be resolved.

Packaging/appearance

Great quality nicely packed and really stong adhesive.

Competitiveness

You can also use alexa or google, which is easily linked by the govee app.

The price was great compared to other brands.

They are a wonderful addition but there are several companies that make these.
