I did test them out though and was very impressed by their light output and build quality.
We’ve had these govee lights on just about 24/7 since installing and there’s no sign of dangerous heat in the least.
One of our light strips ended up having 4 defective lights.

I picked this up on prime day on sale which makes them even better!
I bought them when they were a on sale deal and feel like we got a good value for what we paid!

They responded right away and sent out what i needed next morning.
We contacted govee and they sent a replacement two days later.
Packaging/appearance
They're packaged well and work perfectly awesome.
They are beautiful, can't wait the put them on red and green for christmas.
The packaging and the product are premium, and the app experience was somewhat painless.
I didn't want to leave it fully exposed to the elements, so i got a waterproof electrical box to keep it in.
Competitiveness
Adhesion - better than competitors, and it’s nice to have the mounting brackets too.
We found that you can order them off amazon they seem to be more helpful than govee in is when getting extra clips.
Govee products tend to be more robust, and better overall than other brands, and the instructions/app are much better developed.
Govee is my new favorite mid-upper tier lighting brand, only second to hue and superlighting led.

I only used the adhesive back to stick them up to my metal and vinal sided porch and they have yet to fall down

The only drawback is that they dont come with enough clips and the screws are garbage

When we called to order more clips from govee they told us they couldnt help us and that they only sell them with the full kit
