Pros

Govee products tend to be more robust, and better overall than other brands, and the instructions/app are much better developed. The only drawback is that they don't come with enough clips and the screws are garbage. Would buy again.

I'm a tech geek that's a kid at heart. The app is a little clunky, but if you can set the strip up the way you want and then just use it for on and off then you're golden. Easy connection to wi-fi and alexa.

Lights are warm and bright enough to give you the perfect ambiance for your outdoor oasis. Very bright one picture is of my very dark deck but these lights definitely brighten things up.

The color options are awesome! True white, and vibrant colors. The colors all look very vibrant and setup is very simple.

Cons

These strip lights have the bulbs really far apart so they still look like regular christmas lights on the outside of your house.

I did test them out though and was very impressed by their light output and build quality.

The build quality of these outdoor lights are fantastic.

We’ve had these govee lights on just about 24/7 since installing and there’s no sign of dangerous heat in the least.

One of our light strips ended up having 4 defective lights.

I picked this up on prime day on sale which makes them even better!

I bought them when they were a on sale deal and feel like we got a good value for what we paid!

We contacted govee and they sent a replacement two days later.

Packaging/appearance

They're packaged well and work perfectly awesome.

They are beautiful, can't wait the put them on red and green for christmas.

Competitiveness

Adhesion - better than competitors, and it’s nice to have the mounting brackets too.

We found that you can order them off amazon they seem to be more helpful than govee in is when getting extra clips.

Govee is my new favorite mid-upper tier lighting brand, only second to hue and superlighting led.

I would highly recommend ponying up for the govee brand now that i know why so many others have.
