I didnt realize it will connect to my wifi meaning it is communicating with some servers somewhere and potentially collecting data

On the bright side seems like there is no microphone on the bulb itself thus this privacy concern potentially can be avoided by killing the app when not in use or restricting microphone usage

I contacted the customer support via the app not really anticipating much and was thinking i will have to return to amazon for a refund
