Pros
Lcd is big, easy to read and also updates as quickly as the broadcast readings. I have six now, four monitoring the performance of my heating system and two (don't tell govee) outdoors.
No hesitation in recommending these devices and their ios app.
Has best functionality, the quality of finish and screen readability it on another level as is the accuracy. They seem accurate and the first thing i did was to put the two units side by side and let them stabilise to the room temperature.
Altogether, a good effort. Nothing at all to complain about. Easy to set up.
For the money they are ridiculously good. I expect if they were permanently connected the batteries would soon drain. El cheapo batteries also seem to be long-lasting.
Cons
The cheap thermometer read 18degrees c. As it's bluetooth it has a limited range.
This is totally unnecessary and a health risk for those who are electro sensitive. Used it for one day and it's been thrown in a drawer for good. Wouldn't recommend.

It always takes multiple refreshes to latch on and some days just refuses.
This is only bluetooth connectivity not wifi enabled.

For the price it is excellent value.
Very good for the price, would recommend.

The bluetooth connection is not very viable without a very direct and entirely unobstructed line of sight but i anticipated that may be the case so don’t mark it down
