Pros

If your router has a setting to make a separate instance for this specifically it helps. These integrate with home assistant with the hacs repository. Easy to set up through the govee app.

Compared to competitors they are way better by price imo. Do not listen to bad reviews,this light is worth every penny!

Cons

Govee wifi bulbs have a scheduling option but they can’t be paired together in “scene mode” like the bluetooth ones can, nor can they sync to music. Unless your router doesn't have wifi integration you are better off buying the bluetooth version of th... Read More

They all flicker. I have to offset the colour setting to get the light bulbs to match. When i went to remove the bulb, the base of it was so hot i couldnt touch it.

Not a fully baked product. I doubt they’ll match my salary to compensate for the hassle.

Because of this i'm also considering replacing my current humidifiers and thermometer/hygrometers with the govee options!

I tried this product that wasn’t horrible.

These bulbs installed easily with the govee app and a since i already had some of these bulbs installed, i didn’t have to enable the skill.

It was super easy to set up with our alexa devices and with the apple home app.

Packaging/appearance

Was able to schedule them to come on and turn off automatically.

Competitiveness

Works so much easier than ge brand.

Pretty hard to use, missing features found in competitors, etc.

Originally bought a cheaper brand off of amazon thinking it was slightly cheaper why not save the money.
