Pros

Govee is quickly becoming a serious threat to philips hue. The bulb is bright for a (60w, 9w) bulb and has an endless array of colors and themes that are easily customizeable. They are also dimmable.

I have them set up through google home, zero issues. Would definitely recommend as a stand alone also. Like the colors, my moms loves it most.

The compatibility of these lights with alexa is great. Can easily be controlled by google& alexa. This lightbulb is really easy use and it works almost instantly with alexa in your phone.

The app works flawlessly and there are so many options/features that can be paired across all govee devices. The different color modes are an added bonus, as well as the app and the connectivity to google home.

Cons

It's frustrating considering i'm ordering from qatar. That’s exactly what a shady retailer would say. Very disappointing product.

It’s great you get four bulbs for this price, i definitely will be getting more for the entire house.

I've had hue lights for a long time and found them to be very expensive, limited colors and the bridge can be finicky.

Nothing wrong with hue, except they are $50 a bulb 😬 .
