Pros

Govee smart plugs work seamlessly with alexa and google assistant. They work with streamdeck on macos and are easy to set up through an app. They also work with air cleaner and light bulbs.

The gover app is extremely capable and usable. Works with google home. I already have the app installed on my phone and paired with my echo dots.

Only minor downside is that they only work with 2. Once connected, they perform reliably and offer great convenience. Only reason i did not give 5 starts is because you can not put 2 on the same outlet without a splitter.

Cons

For my mother, this is unusable, and unreliable. Product never pairs. Very disappointed in this product.

Always disconnecting from the wi-fi for no discernible reason. After inputting the network and password, the app freezes. Even if the crashes are just an issue with my phone, needing to open the app, then have a 5+ second lag every time you want to fl... Read More

This was my 3rd purchase for smart plugs (different brands) this brand is the easiest to set up and sync with alexa.

I have been holding off on picking a smart brand to go with and govee seems to be the right choice.

Was not as easy to connect as the amazon brand

I got these to replace some from a dead brand.
