These need a hub but that’s ok as any smart home device that requires a hub tend to respond better

Testing demonstrated the alarm isnt super loud audible on same floor and probably one floor away unless the house is super noisy

What other reviewers have said about the 4 screws securing the battery chamber is true they are tiny

Be sure when removing or putting them back that you are in a place that will make it easy to find a dropped screw

You have to be careful as the screws will strip easily

When putting the screws back i didnt screw them quite all the way in to make it easier to remove them in future
