Govee home app is meh but adding it to iftt then you can really do alot. Easy no tech headaches here. I really like getting a text on my phone to let me know what my rascals are up to.
The goveelife human presence sensor isn’t just a gadget; it’s a silent guardian. For occupancy sensing, you benefit from having both; individually they each have their pitfalls.
This sensor works perfectly with the govee app and ecosystem. Turning on the light has been working flawlessly. I have it setup to control a set of my smart lights using the alexa app and it works.

I have 2 of these, one in the laundry room to turn on lights when i am there, works fast and well.
The results are minimally sporadic with slight lags in the detection and sometimes will false trigger when my cats come down the stairs.

Physical installation was easy i used command strips to secure the base and rotated the sensor

Some things to be mindful of it has to remain plugged in it seems to only command govee products i use google home and it just says if someone is present or not it will take a few seconds to register that a person is in a room so it isnt as fast as a dedicated pir sensor

Motion detection works great if there is nothing on either side of it like tables
