This update solves all of the temperature limit setting and false alarm issues. Real-time alerts for any temperature deviations provide invaluable peace of mind. App works pretty well.

Govee device connects via bluetooth and wifi so remember to have the password for your wifi network available. Comes with it's own hub to connect to wifi. Ghz connection and the device connected immediately.

Cons

Product seems to have another design flaw in that it is corded. The cord linking the external display to the inside probe creates a tiny gap on the insulation strip on the door. The router is 15 feet away line of sight.

Definitely worth the money for how much money in food i have in the deep freezer.

I had a fridge go out on me which almost cost me a few hundred dollars worth of meat.

The current price of ~$50 is reasonable.

I'm able to manage this much better now, plus i don't waste time in worry mode.

As far as the lower limit setting, mine has a lower limit setting down to -40.
