Now i say despite the ties because since the shirt went lower than midriff it seemed to me the ties in the center might not flatter so much but i found the blouse material not bulky the ties not bulky and it was no less cute than if it didnt have a center tie

When i was in my teens i often wore my shirts tied around my midriff but always around the waist not the lower hips

In actuality the ties on this shirt are more accent and only the ends are tied not like shirts i used to role up and tie midriff

Also another surprise is i expected not such a great fit having just put on a similar shirt same exact size that was too loose and not flattering
