Pros & Cons
Pros
Graco's portable bassinet is lightweight and easy to assemble. The bassinet bases tuck under your bed, allowing them to sort of "float" over your mattress. Both have breathable mesh side panels that are consistent with other bassinets.
This is a quality item that should last from birth through the early toddler years. It is large enough for a baby up to about 6 months. Will keep a newborn close at night for those inevitable night time feedings. Mesh sides are good for safety reasons... Read More
One kind-of-luxe feature is what it calls a calming motion effect. It's so very nice to have a bed that moves around the house and also relaxes the baby with vibration. The only weird part is the large battery pack for vibrate feature.
The "brake" is an absolute must. It's awesome how light and portable it is.
Newborns and infants need a firm surface to sleep in order to provide the safest slumber conditions. The mattress is not very thick but definitely seems comfortable enough for a newborn and provides a firm and safe sleeping surface.
Highlights
Quality
Not only does it work with our bedroom furniture, the quality of the product is great too.
Overall pretty happy with the product, nice, simple and gets the job done.
)i wasn't completely thrilled with the leg extensions.
We weren't as thrilled with the bag it stores in.
Price
I do think the price is a bit high if you’re only planning to use for toddler space or bassinet but if you’ll use from birth it... Read More
Because of this ability, i would say the price is on-point.
The vibrator requires a d battery which is not included, for the price i think it should be.
Packaging/appearance
It came in a very nice box and great packaging and i think it can be a very thoughtful gift to someone with new baby.
I also like that you can just remove it and throw it in the wash.
Even after a few washes, there are no signs of wear and the mattress feels just as full as it was out of the box.
Competitiveness
I do have a boppy pillow in it so it’s more comfortable.
Also, particularly great for moms who had a c-section, since you don’t have to bend down to put the baby.
At list price it has serious competition.
I normally love assembling furniture but as a new first time mom who had a c-section, i just didn’t feel like dealing with it.
