Pros & Cons
Pros
The padding is not nearly as plush as our maxi cosi, but wow is the graco much easier to install & tighten — which is a game changer for us. My toddler loves her new seat and haven't heard her complain once about sitting in it. I love that it grow... Read More
There's this nifty little app called youtube that shows you how to do just about anything. The instructions are great. Easy to move from car to car with the click of 2 *.
Cons
Amazon reviews are now completely suspect after buying this highly rated junk. You cannot remove the base to clean between the base and seat. No cup fits in these things and it’s incredibly frustrating. The britax carseat is far superior.
The instructions also say if it gets heavily soiled, then replace the straps. Graco sells replacement buckle, but does not sell replacement straps.
Pulling the strap to tighten the harness is extremely tough. The bottom tether by my child’s feet is impossible to pull tight.

No matter what, if it was clicked into the recline position for rear facing, it would slide and never be set in place.
Price
I loved the price, we bought this during the black friday markdown.
It’s a really great price for good quality.
We were willing to spend any amount of money on a carseat that would be the safest for our precious cargo.

Competitiveness
Was very easy to install compared to other brands.
Purchased for our second daughter, it is far superior in quality to our other safetyfirst brand car seat.
The highest crash test rated convertible carseat is the graco extend2fit which is hundreds of dollars less than the high end brands.
We like that one so much, we thought we'd stick with the same brand and model but didn't need the booster option.
