Pros

Rich brown color, symmetrical parts, no defects or scratches, sturdy and easy to maneuver. It's sturdy enough (the front piece has a little give when you do the jiggle test but nothing that makes me feel it's unsafe) the finish is rich and beautiful.

Safety is the #1 priority. I have no fears of it toppling over or falling apart.

Assembling the crib was even more simple-it's just 5 steps and you are done! The crib comes with all the required screws and allen wrench. It looks great and i can't wait to finish it up with the mattress and crib bedding.

Cons

A corner of one of the pieces was dented.

Competitiveness

Unlike the cheap furniture from, say, ikea, which doesn't do well with disassembly and reassembly, this crib is fine.

I was all set to get an ikea crib until the june 28th federal standards for cribs came out.

I didn't bother comparing mattress sizes to the crib (in response to other reviews about standard mattresses not fitting).

Ikea voluntarily took all their cribs off the market to make sure they were compliant.
