Our son was born just over 8lbs but the harness and buckle were really difficult to secure and unsnap because he was so tiny and they are considerably big in comparison

I have the greco forever car seat so if you are familiar with the size of that 1 just know that this one is much bigger and if you have a small car i would not recommend this one
