We ended up removing the toy bar the stars didnt really seem to capture babys attention and the bar ended up getting in the way when we would go to lay down sleeping baby

I would say thought if you are looking to use this in your home long term youre better off going with a larger play yard

I bought this playard as travel bed for our baby when she is sleeping at her grand parents or when we are traveling and side bed in our bedroom when our daughter needs to sleep with us sick nightmares

It was fairly simple to put together and the compact size is perfect as it does not take up much space like the original sized packnplays
