We placed our baby in the swing right out the box after easy installation by hubby, and he fell asleep quickly.
The setup up itself was a bit tedious and frustrating, the assembly instructions weren't the greatest.

Regarding a i found it particularly hard to assemble by just reading the assembly manual

That being said as a pregnant woman at the beginning of her third trimester assembling by myself was still not that easy despite the video

In particular i didn’t manage to button 2 of the back buttons it felt like it was just too small… but i don’t think it prevents the item from working properly so i’ll keep it
