Pros

Black powder coat seems durable. The semi gloss is nice. The matte look is masculine which i like.

Keeps the metal plates from rubbing on the bumper. Nice looking plate holder/cover. Some people have stickers on the back plus a plate frame ad.


Cons

Not a good product for mn plates. May work for other parts of the country. I live in oregon, both the year and month tags were too covered for me to consider using the frame. Would not recommend.

I purchased these in may 2014, by july 2014 they had started to pit and rust. They are now more rust and pitting than chrome. On the car for only 6 months and badly rusted.

    I used 4 adhesive felts on the four corners of the licence plate which leaves the slightest relief to keep the plate cover from touching the paint

    I also like that i hugs up to the plate numbers and letters on the bottom hiding the extra holes unlike the similar black plate frame i purchased from auto zone and had to return
