As others have said the amount of sand the base holds is not given in the instructions or in any reviews ive read on amazon

It was very challenging lining up the holes connecting the pole from the base into the bottom of the pole that holds the umbrella

Actually had to use a screwdriver to get it to line up to attach the screw

The base you fill with water and sand bought some sand and after filling it up realized there are bad joints in the plastic which allows for water to escape with sandy material so that every time i move it from one spot to another it leaks and i have to clean up the floor with those particles of sand and water mixed
