There are several types of stainless. It is really sturdy and so easy to clean.

This 3,000 year-old invention outperforms all the gadgets available today. The mortar is simpler and its efficiency probably won't degrade like the grinder did.

This is amazing. This is perfect. It's the best solution i’ve found.

It crushes, absolutely any sized pill and pulverizes it down to a baby powder, consistency. Easy to use crushes quickly and doesn't stick to the bottom of the bowl. This is so much better and faster than the pill crushers you twist.

Cons

Entire thing isn’t stainless steel. But entire thing is def not. It actually gets caked at the bottom of the bowl.

That fancy one the hospital uses costs like $149 on amazon.

I should add that i've tried various other glass and porcelain mortars and pestles, and this one works better than any of them.

This is so much better than m&p's made from other materials.
