Pros

Very nice gravity/grappling hook. Perfect for tossing up into a tree to shake branches until my quad is free. Great for retrieving items that are dropped in the river during kayak trips.

Main hook apparatus with pinching function. This hook is amazing. Interesting gadget.

Scuba diving on shipwrecks, i once got entangled inside a wreck. This is one of those as we were camping and had to hoist something over a limb. Attached and hoisted.

Place the bat wing crossways between the gravity hook jaws. Move the latch pin to the hook closure securing position.

Cons

Real disappointment. Hardly works as a gravity hook (picks things up maybe 2/10 times) and it broke when used as a grappling hook.
